The Task
We had the pleasure of working with Steel Ridge Contracting LTD on a major infrastructure upgrade project that they were awarded. There were many phases to the contract that stretched over several months. Our job was to get an overview of the project from start to finish for the purpose of progress capturing and safety analysis.
The Solution
Our job started by capturing 4k video and imagery prior to any work being undertaken by the contractor. With the imagery acquired, we created a high resolution orthomosaic map that was used as a baseline for the project. From there we flew flights in the same grid pattern as the original to capture significant milestones throughout the construction of the infrastructure.

Our work produced 4k video and high quality maps that were used to monitor progress throughout the project. By creating maps with the exact same parameters as the baseline, we were able to deliver products that could be easily compared. Steel Ridge Contracting was able to use the data to ensure safety on the worksite, make changes to the project and keep their client up to date with ongoing changes.
